a very clear river where you can find mountain stream fish.

THE FOREST, Tsuru City's first large-scale domed glamping facility, has opened in Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture, a town of unspoilt nature and Fuji spring water, about 80 minutes by car from central Tokyo.
THE FOREST coexists with nature, where you can be healed by the fresh breeze of the forest, the whisper of the clear stream flowing just below and the seasonal sounds of insects. 7 dome-shaped tents in total, each with its own theme and interior design.
Enjoy a comfortable glamping life in a private space.

Enjoy drinking at glamping!
Our free drink service of THE FOREST is very popular!
THE FOREST opperates the free drink service plan of draft beer, whisky and sours from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.as well as a variety of soft drinks.
Our free drink service that makes BBQ MENU even better has gotten a lot of favorable reputations.
Besides our free drink service, by paying an additional fee, we prepare special Koshu Wines which the sommelier "Ken Hasebe" who won The National Championship of Wine Advisor selected carefully. Please enjoy the wine unique to Yamanashi.
Time: Soft drink "Lobby open ~ 9:00p.m." Alcohol "3:00 p.m. ~ 9:00 p.m."
Cost: Free for those with dinner. For those without dinner, soft drinks are free but alcohols cost 1,300 yen. (Please let us know on the day of your arrival.)
*An additional fee will be charged for wine.

Onsen is definitely popular.
The relaxing natural onsen is located 2 mins away from THE FOREST on foot.
We, THE FOREST, give out a free onsen ticket for "Basho Tsukimachi no Yu" located 2 mins away from our facility. It will be a wonderful time to enjoy both glamping and an open-air bath, hearing the beautiful sound of the river.
After taking a bath, you can enjoy delicious BBQ. (Basho Tsukimachi no Yu is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
The onsen is normally closed on Mondays. (If Monday is a holiday, it is closed the next weekday.) *When it is a busy season, it may be open depending on the situation.

Popular free shuttle service
Free shuttle service taking 59 mins from Shinjuku to JR Otsuki Station!
There is no need to worry even if you don't have a car. It only takes 59 mins to get to JR Otsuki Station from JR Shinjuku Station (if limited express ones are used.) After that, another free shuttle bus will take 20 mins more to THE FOREST. The convenience is one of the attractions of THE FOREST.
Many customers are very safisfied because they can easily come to our facility and experience glamping even though it is an outdoor activity. Moreover, it is recommended to rent a car at JR Otsuki Station and visit some of the sightseeing spots near our facility.

We provide you with glamping BBQ MENU that you can experience only here using a lot of local ingredients of Yamanashi. Everybody says "Yes!" to the large portion of Koshu Wine Beef from Kobayashi Ranch.
Yamame trouts and pork raised with the spring water of Mt. Fuji, selected as one of the top 100 waters, are the famous food in Tsuru, and they fascinate many foodies.
Also, the vegetables are grown by local farmers with love and care. Feel free to try out our huge portion of unique BBQ MENU!

About free shuttle buses
We operate a free service of shuttle buses at JR Otsuki Station.
(Please consult us via email or phone if you want to take a shuttle bus from Tsurushi Station on the Fujikyu Railway or Chuo Expressway Tsuru.)
We will pick you up at 12:30 p.m. or 2:50 p.m. (The check-in time is at 3 p.m.)
We will send you back at 10 a.m. or 12 p.m. from our facility. (The check-out time is at 10 a.m.)
About the service out of hours
We will charge you 3,000 yen per time (Tax included) for the shuttle bus service to JR Otsuki Station out of hours. (By taxi, it costs about 5,000 yen.)
